It’s almost too big but it’s sure fun to work with. I would say if you just want an alternative because of money to just simply buy the first GEN trackpad but I will admit I love that great big latest one also. All the others either have a weird texture, or they track weird or they’re just too finicky and you just can’t get that fine-tuning that you can with the magic trackpad with that glass top. I have yet to find one that is smooth and just simply works great that isn’t the Apple magic trackpad first GEN or latest generation. Most definitely and I am a laptop person, so I preferred trackpads over Mize even on desktop computers. I too, find that the trackpad has its place.
